Prior to establishing BPG Advisors LLC., Bill worked in the  global financial service industry for over 30 years with 20 years at  Franklin Templeton Investments. As the Managing Director of Americas  International Sales and President and CEO of Templeton Franklin  Investment Services. Bill was responsible for Franklin Templeton's  International strategic initiatives within the Americas region before  his retirement in 2016. He also served as an officer of Franklin  Templeton subsidiaries, Franklin Templeton Investimentos (Brasil) Ltda.,  and Franklin Templeton Investment Services Mexico S de RL. 

Bill  originally joined the Franklin Templeton organization in 1993. During  the course of his career he played an integral role in the development  and marketing of Templeton Worldwide, U.S. and offshore mutual fund  business in new and existing emerging markets. He traveled extensively  working with the emerging markets team as they developed and introduced  Franklin Templeton's International emerging market products throughout  the world. Bill joined Nationwide Financial in 1999, to develop its  offshore division, which was responsible for distributing its Bermuda  Registered Offshore Variable Annuities globally. He rejoined Franklin  Templeton in January of 2002

Before joining  Franklin Templeton, Bill was employed in the securities industry for  more than 10 years, as a financial consultant and sales manager for BC  Financial. In addition, he worked in similar positions with two other  brokerage firms. He also was an equities and options trader. Bill earned  a B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis in International  Business from Eastern Kentucky University.​
